Product Update: Multiple Automation Triggers and Plaid IDV Arrive in DigiFi
We're excited to roll out this release, which includes two updates that give banks and lenders more power to automate their workflows and verify borrower identity, with less setup work required to get there.

Multiple Triggers in Automation Builder
DigiFi’s Automation Builder just got more flexible. Workflows can now support multiple triggers using OR logic, meaning a single automation can kick off from any one of several defined trigger events, instead of just one.
Up to now, running the same set of actions in response to different trigger events meant building a separate automation for each one. This update lets you bring that logic together in one place, so related workflows are easier to keep in sync as your process evolves.
With this release, you can consolidate those into a single automation with multiple triggers, and we've also added workflow duplication to make it faster to set up similar automations from scratch when you do need separate workflows.
What this means for your team:
- Fewer automations to manage. Consolidate logic that used to live in multiple separate workflows into one.
- Faster setup. Duplicate an existing workflow as a starting point instead of building from a blank canvas every time.
- New use cases, unlocked. Build automations for scenarios that require OR-based logic.
The goal isn't just a new feature – it's fewer automations overall, and less time spent building and maintaining them.

Plaid IDV: Faster, Safer Identity Verification
Plaid has long been a DigiFi partner, and this release introduces a major new integration: Plaid IDV (Identity Verification), which is now available in our Integration Marketplace.
Plaid IDV gives lenders a streamlined way to confirm that an applicant is who they say they are, right within the lending workflow, reducing fraud risk and manual review without adding friction for legitimate borrowers.
As part of this integration, we've added a new Plaid IDV widget that can be added directly into the standard borrower portal. That means identity verification can become a native part of the application experience, rather than a separate step or a redirect elsewhere.
Highlights:
- New Marketplace integration. Activate Plaid IDV alongside your existing Plaid products.
- Portal-native widget. Add the Plaid IDV element directly to your standard portal so borrowers can complete verification in the same place they're already applying.
- Stronger fraud defense, less friction. Automated identity verification reduces manual review overhead while keeping the borrower experience smooth.
Both features are available now. Head to Automation Builder to try multiple triggers, or the Marketplace to add Plaid IDV. We'd love to hear what you think!
