Platform Update: Streamlined Applicant Swaps & Faster Table Editing

We are excited to introduce two new features designed to streamline your origination workflows for lending and account opening, to save your team valuable time. DigiFi’s latest release adds the ability to seamlessly change the primary applicant, along with a faster way to work with complex table data.

Here's what's new:

Seamlessly Change Primary Applicant

You can now promote any co-applicant to be the primary applicant on an application, without losing the work that's already been done.

Making the switch is simple: from Application > Edit Applicants > Co-Borrower, open the three-dot menu and select the option to promote that co-applicant to primary. Everything else within the application stays intact.

What happens behind the scenes:

• The borrower and co-borrower variable values swap automatically, so the data lines up correctly under each person's new role.
• Tasks already assigned to external users are left untouched, but smart alerts highlight that your team should double-check them after the role change.
• The newly promoted Primary Borrower gains access to the application through the Standard Lending Portal, while the previous primary loses that access.

Note: if the newly promoted borrower doesn't have a portal account yet, getting them connected is easy. Simply trigger a portal invitation from the platform and they can instantly create their account.

Table Variable: A Dedicated “Edit Row” Panel

Table variables are great for capturing structured data, and we've made managing complex tables faster and more intuitive than ever before. This release introduces an Edit Row panel that pulls an entire table row into a focused form view that simplifies data entry.

What you get:

• A side panel that opens with every field in the row already laid out as a form.
• Quick access from the row actions menu or the pencil icon, right where you're already working.

It's a small addition with a big impact if you're managing tables with many columns and lots of data.
