Task Automation: Build Workflows That Work Your Way

Task Automation: Build Workflows That Work Your Way

The latest DigiFi update delivers more power, precision, and creativity to your workflows, thanks to a new suite of task actions, a redesigned actions menu that keeps pace with an ever-growing list of options, and a more versatile way to assign application labels.

It is not just about adding features – it’s about giving you the building blocks to create smarter, more efficient processes that adapt to your team’s unique way of working.

New Task Actions for Smarter Automation

DigiFi’s Automation Builder now supports five new actions for Tasks, with each designed to save time and reduce repetitive work:

  • Change Task Status: Automatically move a task to a selected status based on your conditions.
  • Assign Task: Assign or un-assign tasks to internal team members or external participants like borrowers and intermediaries.
  • Assign Task Label: Add, remove, or completely replace labels on a task.
  • Change Task Instructions: Update internal or external instructions dynamically through automation.
  • Change Due Date: Adjust task due dates and times based on your automation triggers.

Every new task action includes a Task Identification block - a set of powerful filters that ensures actions only apply to the right tasks. You can target the task that triggered the automation, limit actions to tasks in specific statuses, or focus on tasks with certain labels.

Assign Application Label – Now with More Options

Labels are a powerful way to keep applications organized, and the Assign Application Label action is now even more flexible. You can assign labels, remove specific ones, wipe all labels from an application, or completely reset and reapply a new set in a single step.

Updated Actions Menu – Built for a Growing List of Possibilities

As the list of available actions has grown, so has the potential for creative and highly customized workflows. To keep things clear and easy to navigate, the actions menu has been reorganized into four logical categories: Application Processing, Task Management, Document Management, and Communication.

The new organization ensures you won’t waste time scrolling or hunting for the right tool.

These updates are live in your Automation Builder today. Whether you’re streamlining simple tasks or designing complex, multi-step automations, this release opens the door to new levels of efficiency and creativity.
