New in Data Integrations: File Transfer & XML Integrations Enhancements

We’re happy to share a new addition to our data integrations functionality: File Transfer using Document Labels. This enhancement makes it easier to transfer documents alongside application data to external systems. Now, users can leverage a new content type, multipart/form-data, to send files more efficiently within data integrations.

How It Works:

New Content Type: Multipart Form Data

Users can now configure data integrations to support multipart form data, allowing files to be transferred seamlessly in a data integration request.

Document Labels for File Transfer

Files that need to be sent are defined by custom document labels. By assigning labels like “Loan Agreement” or “Supporting Documents,” users can specify which documents should be included in each transfer request.

Automated File Transfer

Once document labels are set and data integration is triggered, the system automatically identifies and transfers the labeled application documents, simplifying the entire process.

Key Benefits:

  • Enhanced Data Integrations: With multipart form data, you can send both data and documents together, making the integration process cleaner and more efficient.
  • Flexible File Management: Custom document labels give you complete control over which files are transferred, ensuring the right documents are always included.
  • Increased Accuracy: Automating file transfers based on document labels reduces the risk of missing or misplacing important application documents during integration.
  • Time-Saving Automation: By eliminating the need for manual document selection, this feature helps speed up workflows and ensures more reliable data transfers between systems.

Additional Improvement: Direct XML Support

Alongside the file transfer feature, we’ve introduced another impactful improvement to our data integrations functionality. Users can now create integrations directly in XML format. Previously, users had to write the body in JSON, which was then automatically converted. With this update, you can now work in XML from the beginning, offering greater clarity and control when configuring your integrations.

These new capabilities within the data integrations functionality add flexibility and automation to your workflows. With multipart form data, document labels, and direct XML support, you can streamline data transfers and ensure that both files and data are sent accurately.
