New Feature Release: Language Setting for Digital Lending Portal
At DigiFi, we continuously strive to make our digital lending solutions more inclusive and accessible to borrowers around the world. Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of a new feature: language settings for the applicant-facing interfaces. This enhancement ensures that non-English speaking applicants can now seamlessly engage with the digital lending portal and receive communications in their preferred language.
What’s New?
Previously, our digital lending portals and email communications were available only in English. With this update, administrators can now select a different language for the standard text displayed in portals and in emails. This capability enhances accessibility and improves the user experience for applicants who prefer or require communication in languages other than English.
How It Works
The new language setting is easy to set up:
- Set Language Preference: Administrators can configure the language directly in the branding settings. The DigiFi platform offers 15 language options, including Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
- Localized Portal Text: Once a language is selected, all standard text on the portal will appear in the chosen language.
- Localized Emails: Standard emails sent to applicants—including portal invitations, code verifications, and document upload requests—will also automatically adapt to the selected language, ensuring consistency in communication.
This feature is an important step forward in making our platform the right choice for lenders in countries around the world. By allowing lenders to select a language that resonates with their applicant base, this feature enhances user engagement, improves accessibility, and supports business growth by enabling lending institutions to expand their reach to diverse audiences.
