Improved Application Layouts & Section Permissions

We’re excited to share some updates that have been in the works at DigiFi! These changes are designed to improve how you navigate and manage your applications, making your experience smoother and more intuitive. Here’s a closer look at what’s new.

Enhanced Application Details View

One of the updates we’ve rolled out is a revamp of the Application Details view. The new layout is designed to be more intuitive, making it easier to navigate between different parts of the application and access the information you need quickly.

Key Updates:

• Horizontal Menu Navigation: We’ve added a horizontal menu for navigating key sections of the application. This allows you to quickly access the information you need, without losing your place. Additionally, admins can reorder the sections in the menu to match the loan product workflow, giving you more control over how you interact with the application.
• Clear Section Distinctions: The updated layout also clearly distinguishes between different types of application data, reducing clutter and helping you find exactly what you’re looking for.

This update is designed to not only make the application details more accessible but also to make your workflow smoother and more efficient.

Introducing Application Sections Permissions

Alongside the layout updates, we’ve introduced new permissions for application sections, giving you greater control over who can access and edit different parts of the application.

New Permission Levels:

• Read & Edit: Users can view and make changes to the section.
• Read Only: Users can view the section but cannot make any changes.
• No Access: Users cannot view or interact with the section at all.

While some sections offer the full range of permissions, others may only have specific options available. This setup gives you the flexibility to protect sensitive information while allowing broader access where appropriate.

Integrating with Existing Permissions

The new section-specific permissions work seamlessly with the existing permissions framework, offering an additional layer of control:

• Platform Access Permissions: Control who can access the main sections of the platform.
• Loan Product Access Permissions: Manage who can access each loan product.
• Application Status-Based Permissions: Control access based on the application’s status, now with finer adjustments.
• Variable Permissions: Provide detailed control over specific variables, working alongside the new permissions.
