Document Management: New Tools to Organize and Automate

Document Management: New Tools to Organize and Automate

Two new features are now available to improve your document management and workflow automation. Whether you're organizing large volumes of documents or optimizing your processes, these updates will help simplify and streamline your work.

Let’s explore what’s new.

Document Labels: Easy Categorization and Organization

Managing documents is now more efficient with the introduction of Document Labels. You can create and assign labels to application documents both manually and automatically. This new capability brings clarity and structure to the application documents section, helping you stay organized.

Key Benefits of Document Labels:

  • Custom Labels: You can create labels that reflect your specific document categories or any other custom tags that fit your workflow.
  • Manual Labeling: Assign labels to documents as you upload them or after they've been uploaded. This provides flexibility for users who prefer a more hands-on approach.
  • Automatic Labeling: Save time and reduce manual work by setting up rules for automatic label assignment. For instance, you can specify which document labels will be automatically applied after an automated document request, e-sign process, or document generation performed through automation.

By using document labels, your team can establish a clear organizational structure that simplifies navigation, ensures consistency, and reduces the risk of misplacing important documents.

New Automation Trigger: "When an Application Document is Uploaded"

Automation is at the heart of making your processes more efficient, and we’re happy to introduce a brand-new automation trigger: “When an application document is uploaded.”

This trigger unlocks the ability to automate workflows based on document uploads, saving your team time and effort.

Key Highlights of the New Automation Trigger:

  • Trigger Automations for Any Uploaded Document: Set up workflows that automatically run whenever any document is uploaded to the application.
  • Trigger Automations for Specific Document Labels: Want more control? You can now set up workflows to trigger only when a document with a specific label is uploaded.
  • Customizable Workflows: Combine this new trigger with other automation features to create powerful, multi-step workflows that respond to document uploads in real-time.

Getting Started with New Features

For the New Automation Trigger: Head over to the “Automation Builder” section of your loan product, where you can set up workflows with the new "When an application document is uploaded" trigger. Choose whether to apply the trigger for all documents or only those with specific labels.

Our goal with this feature release is to provide you with tools that simplify and enhance your document management and automation capabilities. The introduction of document labels and the new automation trigger brings both structure and speed to your workflows, empowering you to stay organized and concentrate on what’s important.
